What a bummer! One of the most popular cars (and its driver), the Valiant Pacer of Cam Tilley an innocent victim, cleaned up by Almond's brakeless Camaro. The Pacer was the only non-GM product anywhere amongst it at Townsville in a field of Toranas and Camaros. (I think there was a lonely Mustang somewhere in there. Where are the Fords?)The damage probably looks worse than it hopefully turns out to be.
It's funny hey, I don't really care when a 'modern supercar' gets damaged in a race but I hate seeing these old ones get damaged, particularly when it's a big one.
