Grove went missing in that last session?

Damn- those ZB's look after their tyres hey...not sure we will see a Ford win this year at all! How good is the parity!!! Roll on Gen 3....

fordman

how did they all miss how the soft tyre would last???

next 3 races looks like 3 laps on soft and get OFF them????

did they practice on softs???? obviously not more than 3 laps????

REM

Davo's comment that there was not actually a wear problem but a delamination problem was interesting?

How the **** can you blame that on parity? DJR completely got the strategy wrong, dont blame their stuff up on parity.

If there was a party issue we would be hearing the Ford teams complaining about one!! I'll trust them more than you.

Hahaha!  Davison tried to do 17 laps on the soft, Anton 16. SVG only did 8. Joe nailed it, DJR got the strategy all wrong.

I guess no-one did enough running on softs prior to the race to see this coming? Nice to see Chaz have another win, and Reynolds did well considering his car was terrible on the softs.

Did you not notice how many other cars had multiple soft tyre issues not sure its a parity issue more a tyre issue.

As did many others, question what will happen in race 2/3/4 3 laps on soft than off ???? how many will have enough soft tyres to run three more races? many burned 2 up already.

It's pretty clear the ZB is a much better jigger now than the Stang- better and deeper under brakes, better straight line ala Bathurst and if you look at the years trend doesn't burn its tyres up like the Stangs....I really can't see the Ford teams getting a win this year- it's friggin dire....

TheArrow

So will we see everyone on the same strategy for the next three races?

LG

The djr tyres didn't wear out and lose grip.
They delaminated and fell apart.
Are they guilty of the same decisions over settings as 888?

looked like everyone's Supersofts fell apart....DJR just pushed the envelope further...no?

SVG overtook 10 cars in the first 2 laps, 8 of which were ZB's. People need to start racing him, at least Percat put the elbows up.
DJR ballsed up big time, they generally have the best tyre wear and were banking on it with the early stop. Shows how blindesided the whole field was.

Well done to Macca Jones with his highest ever finish with 6th. And Percat finally looked semi-competitive.

They suggested in commentary that each race was worth 100pts, but the Supercars website has it listed as 75? (Thinking of you, Mike!).
