Thanks Kye. Those stats are always welcome.

It may be the way I read it, but Davison is shown as 1 win, yet 2 firsts in the podium stats. (1/6/1)

+1. Kudos Kye. Been hoping you'd come back with the season stats!

(1/6/1) means (one win/six 2nd places/one 3rd place). Looks fine to me.

Have updated the numbers for the last three rounds.

Some other notable statistics from the season so far...

- McLaughlin has had two of his "youngest" records broken: Feeney finished third for the weekend at Symmons Plains to become the youngest driver to finish in the top three for a round, while Best's pole position at Tailem Bend saw him become the youngest polesitter in championship history. Best was only eight days younger than McLaughlin was when he took pole at Winton in 2014.

- Van Gisbergen has matched McLaughlin's record of 18 race wins in a season. It took McLaughlin 25 races to reach 18 wins while SVG took 29 races. With the Gold Coast and Adelaide, both traditionally strong circuits for Triple Eight, closing out the season, I expect the record to be broken. It took 23 years for Lowndes' 1996 record of 16 to be matched and beaten, so to have McLaughlin's mark last only three years is surprising.

- Pukekohe was Van Gisbergen's seventh round win of the season, matching his total from last year. He is the first driver to win seven rounds in a season on two occasions; Moffat, Richards, Skaife, Whincup and McLaughlin all did it in a single season only.

- Van Gisbergen now has 24 race podiums for the season, just one behind Skaife's record of 25 from 2000. I expect this record to be beaten too. For comparison, Whincup's best was 24 in 2012, Lowndes' was 23 in 1999 and McLaughlin's was 22 in 2019.

- Van Gisbergen has 14 fastest laps for the season, the most in a single year by any driver since Lowndes scored 17 fastest laps in 1996. It is another record that SVG could potentially take with five races left this year.

- Davison's three race wins and Mostert's four race wins have taken them to second and equal third on the list of drivers to have won a race without winning a championship. Murphy still holds the record at 28 ahead of Davison now on 22 and Bright and Mostert on 20.

- Pye has broken the record for most round starts without taking an overall round win. He matched Jason Richards' total of 133 at Sandown and moved clear on this unwanted record at Pukekohe.

Great records to read about as always, thanks Kytabu!

Some statistics of note from Bathurst, other than the obvious ones pointed out over the weekend (SVG most wins in a season, Lowndes 300 rounds, DJR 1000 races, etc.):
- SVG broke the record for most round wins in a season, becoming the first driver to take eight overall weekend victories in one year. The record was originally set by Moffat in 1977.
- It was SVG's 37th round win, making him the fourth driver to reach Brock's record that stood for so many years. Interestingly, it came in SVG's 213th round, while Brock's 37th came in his 211th round.
- It was SVG's fifth consecutive round win, the first time a driver has achieved this since Skaife won the opening five rounds of 2002.
- It was Tander's 57th race win which breaks his tie with McLaughlin and places him outright fifth for all-time race winners.
- SVG became the second driver after McLaughlin to win races at ten separate rounds in one season. McLaughlin was races at 12 rounds in 2019.
- It was the 60th time SVG has set the fastest lap in a race. Only Lowndes and Whincup have done so in more races.

It's worth adding that Tander has now won a few 'final' races for Holden.
- Final race for the Factory Holden Racing Team (2016 Sandown 500)
- Final race for the Factory Holden team (888 - 2020 Bathurst 1000)
- Final Bathurst for a homologated Holden (2022 Bathurst 1000)

...and most of those podiums were wins....Sheesh!

TheArrow

Davo and Waters only winning 1/3 of the number of times they've started from pole would be concerning for those camps.

I thought the win figure was much less than that, maybe 2,

A superb performance though, possibly one of the best.

Stats have been updated for the end of the season.

Keep an eye out for a special thread on team and driver stats for the 5-litre era, 1993 to 2002, which will also be broken down into each ten year segment (Group 3A/V8 Supercars, Project Blueprint and COTF/Gen2) and a thread for the cars of the 5-litre era as well. Still got a couple of years of adding up to do.
