I vaguely remember on the old forum there was a thread for sharing photos of your car.

As a motoring enthusiast, I'm sure others would agree, I'd love to see photos of your cars. Daily drivers, weekenders, race cars, all of the above.

I'll kick us off:

2009 Mazda3 MPS. I've had it for about 2 and a half years (bought it in Feb 2020, right before COVID hit).

With all the negativity it gets for the (overly criticised) torque steer, which isn't anywhere near as bad as everyone says, it is actually a super fun car to drive.

Feel free to share your cars too!

If you don't like my comment, ignore it. If you don't know how to ignore it, message me and I will be only too happy to demonstrate how.

Kytabu

My little beast. I watched Mostert throwing an RS around the Mountain at the 6 Hour in 2017 and finally got my hands on one in 2020. Two years of ownership and still brings on a smile every time I look at her ;D.
"I just plucked her in first, gave it some jandal, f**k yeah!"

Be glad to show off my every day road car.  A 2007 Pontiac Vibe (Toyota Matrix re-badged).  I "inherited" it from my wife, Sue, when she upgraded earlier in the year.  I always seem to get the hand-me-downs and make them last as long as I can.

Currently 243,000+ miles / 391,000+ kilometers.

Pontiac - a make no more.

This is my absolute pride and joy, my 1980 Mk2 Ford Escort with the might YB Cosworth Turbo engine.

Have owned it for 10 years now, and it's massively different to the day i bought it.  8)

Massive thanks to Kytabu for the images last time out at the track LEGEND!  :D

A shout out to The Arrow for starting this thread!  Great job!  I am sure we will get some great responses.

What track were you at when that pic was taken, Jetpac?

I was at Sydney Dragway which is now Australia's best drag strip. ;)

Sonic

ha! I don't even remember how to post a pic in here... if I ever knew? if anyone wants to help out I found an online pic, nope, I don't even have any pics of my own car that I can think of but if you've seen one Commie, you've seen them all...

Blue 2009 VE Berlina... over 250,000km on the clock and still purring along nice enough.

Bloopy

The Bloopcraft when he was clean. After a seriously damp winter and a trip away he's truly in need of another clean & polish.

Great timing for the thread as it's time to wish him a happy 20th birthmonth. Honda Civic Ferio originally registered in Japan in Sept 2002. Then set sail for New Zealand at age 7, before I found him another 5½ years later (to replace an old 1992 Honda Civic that was originally my mother's). Probably the most brilliant value-for-money purchase I've made in my life.

It's nice having a small engine and being able to put the pedal to the metal without much contest to the road rules. Even with that I get about 37 miles per gallon, Mike. ;D

I also noticed when my phone was on 73% battery as I put it in my pocket at 10:37am in advance of a long drive home yesterday. At one point I was following a car with 37 being the number on its plate. I just hope I don't go too bonkers like Jim Carrey in the film The Number 23 which I watched recently!

My BMW 435i. Having only 2 doors is a pain in the butt, but looks so much better than the sedan....except for an M3. Still dreaming.

My daily, a 1997 EL Ford Fairmont Ghia (can go on club permit now   ;)) - all still orginal, no major repairs - just a lovely inline 6 cylinder Ford Falcon engine (with a funny T on the head)
