Toronto Canceled - New Calendar

The Toronto round scheduled in July was canceled yesterday.  No surprise.

I have it on fairly decent authority that the canceled Toronto race will be run at Mid-Ohio as the season closer in October.  To be continued...

What is with the multiple trips to Indianapolis...

Neither

The road course race before the 500 is just there to try and restore a "full month of May" tradition

The August event is a double header with NASCAR and the Brickyard 400.... The NASCAR race was lagging and they think a dual bill with indycars will raise interest

I think the only Indycar race at IMS should be the 500
