Vale Jim McKeown

Jim was a true legend of the Australian Motor Racing scene who raced in the 60s and 70s.
At one stage he has the fastest Corty in the world.
As a kid I loved watching and hearing about his exploits.

Back in time, the QMSC would put on drinks for all officials after Lakeside race Meetings.

When racing there, Jim, along with Norm Beechey and Peter Manton, would attend and thank officials. I always found Jim easy to chat to.
