I'll have the results out in about eight hours, guys.  I have a commitment over at a local Boys & Girls Club this afternoon.  Math tutoring for the Summer months whilst school is out.

I should just have the kids do the tally for the V8CFL!

Jekyll & Hyde.  He shot himself in the arse at Hidden Valley by not re-addressing the bump and run in Race 1, too.

Townsville in a few days, men.  As of now the only roster move is Ain't Care Motorsports.

Time to get back in the racing groove.  Seems like it has been an eternity since Darwin.

Just watched the action from Townsville.  Give me about 14-16 hours and when I wake up tomorrow I will have the weekend tally.  Right now I am putting the tape in the VCR to watch the IndyCar race from Mid-Ohio - the first round ever for IndyCar with the hybrid power plant.

I just opened another cheap beer, too.

Townsville Results are posted.  Thanks to skaifeman picking up the 87 car and dropping the 6 car the 87 had their worst outing of the season and the 6 their best.

One post race penalty of a 30 point loss was dished out by the stewards to the 23 team in Race 1 for leaving the garage area with a jumper battery still installed under the bonnet after a long repair.  Said penalty is reflected in the Race 1 results for the V8CFL.

Another 30 point penalty was levied against the 4 car for a worker holding onto the car as it was released from pit lane.  This is an interesting debacle for the 4 car was part of the tiebreaker for Race 1.  With the penalty, the V8CFL has moved their position down from 10th to 19th (the 30 point deduction).  With that, they lost the tiebreaker by 3 points to the 96 car.

Next up will be SMP.  Plenty of time to ponder any team roster changes as we are all still in pursuit of TGI Racing.
