While still unable to find a Stewards Summary from the Gold Coasrt round, it appears that more post-race points penalties have been issued by Supercars.  Teams involved are Tickford, WAU, and DJR - all six cars docked 30 points.

A rehash of the points tally will follow later today.  I hate when this stuff comes up in the 13th hour.

Rehash has been completed, men.  The only race that was affected was Race 1.  Race 2 stands as before.

Race 1 Revised Podium:
1 Ain't Care Motorsports / skaifeman / Chevrolet Camaro
2 Super Seven Racing Aotearoa / formerlyHolden51 / Toyota Camry SX
3 Ecurie SCarGo / stevo qld / Chevrolet Camaro

Ecurie SCarGo still has the points lead but it has been narrowed to ten markers over Kalyara Racing Team.

A synopsis of the points differences related to the table with respect the Race 1 post-race penalties:

Ain't Care Motorsports       +21
Kalyara Racing Team          +18
TGI Racing                    +9
Shogun Autosport              +6
The Arrow Motorsport          +6
Bundaberg Rum Racing           0
R&K Motorsports               -9
TAA Performance              -12
Super Seven Racing Aotearoa  -18
Ecurie SCarGo                -21

Although point totals did change for the four teams in the Tournament this past weekend, the results did not change.  The point differences/changes have been reflected in the Tournament thread.

As much as I hate to hurt my own chances, in the interest of fairness I would like to point out a miscalculation.

Following Bathurst I was on 2275. A 4th and a 3rd on the Gold Coast is worth 249 which would move me to 2524, but the current standings show me on 2560.

Thank you for your honesty o Great One of Stats.  You are spot on.  In fact, there were four other errors in the scoring.  I think between the deduction of Supercars points via penalties and my transposition errors, these occurred.  The actual finishing positions of everyone was good, it was the totaling of points for the two races when added to the Bathurst standings.

Apologies to all.  I double and triple check the numbers every time.  This last time I checked them but now looking back I apparently short-cutted the last calc process.

It should be correct now.  stevo qld owes you a Coopers, Kye!   ;D

Thanks for your good eye.

Last call this weekend, men!  End of 2024!  There are still a few days to get your roster changes in before the streets of Adelaide turn into a race track.

There is a four-way battle for the V8CFL Championship:  Ecurie SCarGo, Kalyara Racing Team, TGI Racing, & TAA Performance (our defending champion)..

Then we have the V8CFL Tournament Championship match between R&K Motorsports and Ecurie SCarGo.

Thursday Midnight Sydney NSW time is the witching hour.  We have already had a couple of moves so far.

Final results will be out in about 15-16 hours.  Tomorrow morning here in the States.  I had a hard time getting Race 2 over here but eventually got it.  Late be it.

I'll have my coffee cup next to me in the morning and whip out the abacus.

Awesome work Mike. Always diligent and a gentleman. Appreciate the time and effort, always fun to logon on a Monday and see what our fantasy world has for us.

Many thanks go to Mike for running this competition.

It is my biggest win since drag racing back in the 1960's.

I stuck to my original choices throughout, so luck was on my side.

Only once was I tempted to make a change, when another competitor made a change I approved of, Then I checked by entry and found that I already had that driver.

Thanks for the fun and other forumites should have a go in 2025. It only takes a few minutes to enter and it isn't necessary to keep updating selections.
