Thursday starts are great!

JC has written off the left rear. Not a great start for BRT, one driver sacked, the other one in the wall.
PremiAir have been strong, timely?

Super entertaining race on Thursday.
Waters with a mammoth effort and using the bumper, SVG style!
Almost in a flip from last year, Chev's were taking themselves out this time around. All the Mustangs climbed way up the field.

That was a champion's drive from Cam.

Also great to have a bit of variety in the comm box.

Surely it is appropriate that long term "Numpty", Reynolds should be back with the numpties. ::)
Love thy neighbor as thyself but choose your neighborhood very carefully.

Turns out MSR can tune a car around here. 1-2 and backs up their form from last year. Congrats to Cam and MSR.
Albert was right, MSR might be worth a look for HT ;D.

Barry on the radio was interesting, "Supercars can pay for this one."
Going by the reports and commentary, I'd say a few team owners/drivers aren't so happy with this 'let them race' ruleset.
The rules feel completely based on the aftermath opposed to what's allowable and what's not.
My bet is a monster accident will happen and the DSO will move back to a more traditional adjudication.

Reynolds is washed up.

MSR were great today, Cam Hill was super to win that, Percat was equally strong maintaining P2 without pressuring his teammate. I think he played the rear gunner role today.

What happened with Brown and Feeney at the end. They swapped positions but the commentators completely missed it and did not address it.

You're a Sleuth muz!
Feeney just lit up onto the straight and Brown drove past.

Qualifying means so much this round. In the race, the cars are very close.

Fords seem to be struggling with soft tyres on high grip tracks. Hurting the one or two lap runs in Qually.

And I'm lovin' the commentary.  Ditch Skaife for Tander! Edit: Bugger Skaife is back for race 5. :)

Agreed, Neylon and Tander are excellent. Courtney could yet be a good addition in the pits TBH.

I did enjoy JC on Thursday.
They should bring in drivers that are out of the race into the commbox more often like the early 2000's.

Feeney 4/4 poles. Impressive.
MSR and Cooper Murray have also been fantastic this weekend.

Brown may have something to answer for baulking Mostert.

Cooper Murray - I can't work out yet. I think the kid is fast as ****, but not sure if he gets too caught up in troubles sometimes.

skaifeman

Your suspicions are right Muz. Murray just caught up in stuff again.

Percat playing the 'new' rules to perfection at the final corner.

I wonder what race control saw that we didn't with the Golding/Mostert contact? Looked clean cut...

not sure what Nick is on, but it's working well. never seen him fight as hard as he is this weekend.
If you don't like my comment, ignore it. If you don't know how to ignore it, message me and I will be only too happy to demonstrate how.

I actually thought Nick was going to win at one stage. It's not offen we see a T888 car past in a race on merit!

Shame it sort of fell apart a bit at the end. Great drive none the less.

We really need more races without pit stops. Make them race a bit, in stead of just waiting for strategy

Troy01505

After watching Melbourne races in full, I'd piss off all pit stop races apart from enduros but increase the points difference between positions, no one should get points for participation.

The short qualifying is much better.

I'd like to see a shift to 2 day events, 6-8 sprints and maximum 10 min qualifying sessions. Get rid of the pitstops.

This is the first time in years the racing was actually unpredictable and battles all the way through the field.

Commentary team still needs a major change.
