Not going to matter who GM chose. The 2026 GM teams are all of the same caliber. T18 had Burgess and two notable drivers going for it. In the end it reads like, GM picked Charlie because he owns a Corvette.

PremiAir not flat out saying it's staying with GM is a juicier story right now. One wonders how burnt Peter Xiberras is. He's dropped his drag racing, and put on a CEO only to be dumped last week. Dane must be fuming that his pick missed out. Ford told him "no" once and held a grudge every since. GM have played him since Holden shuttered.

Peter has some family and business issues requiring his time. He might be glad to be free of extra responsibilities.

And he is now free to accept a better offer for 2027.

Maybe. Maybe he brought them on to handle the HT roll to give him time for Family.

They haven't settled on 2026, let alone 2027.

Surely Daffid will get swapped out at least?

Isn't this exactly the problem. Maybe the drivers are not the issue.

The past few years they have made some progress and it mostly came with Frosty there, but he got swapped out.

Reynolds's previously helped both Erebus, Kelly's and Grove develop a better package...would you really swap him?

ADP? Fast, but never pushed development forward with DJR as HT like a McLaughlin did or Kostecki will now. I don't think he is the development horse to bet on. Just a fast driver.

Maybe you're right. Based on championship positions though it doesn't look good for one driver.

They had a long stint with Frosty (at least 5 years?), and Holdsworth they gave him a few years. To be fair, they've never had an A+ driver.

Coincidentally ADP has been the top performing Chev so far.

Charlie already suggesting the Camaro won't goto Windshear. Caretaker.

My understanding is that Holdsworth never received a great car. Frosty developed from there.

But agree, never someone like a Kostecki coming to them. Kind of a catch 22, need better results to attract that talent.
