Thanks for chiming in, Brighty!  I checked out your league and if I may say so myself, it looks like aspects of our fantasy league here have been incorporated there.

It is good to see fantasy leagues for the Supercars elsewhere.  Maybe next season, when we can all get in at the first round, you might get some V8CFL takers coming on over.  Please chime in again when the 2027 witching hour comes in the event one (me) might forget.

Thanks for bringing this comp to our attention.

The usual pre-race weekend reminder here:  The deadline for QR roster changes is about 24 hours out.

The window of opportunity for pre-QR roster changes has now closed.  Only Ain't Care Motorsports has submitted a change.

Happy race watching my fellow V8CFL members!

QR Results are posted, men.  Shogun Autosport showed the power of a former champ by winning two of the three races and finishing third in the other.

The Arrow Motorsport still holds serve but Ain't Care Motorsports has chipped away just a little heading into The Bend.

Race 1 Podium:
1 Ain't Care Motorsports / skaifeman / Chevrolet Camaro
2 The Arrow Motorsport / TheArrow / Hyundai N-Sport
3 Shogun Autosport / Helix / Ford Darkhorse Mustang

Race 2 Podium:
1 Shogun Autosport / Helix / Ford Darkhorse Mustang
2 The Arrow Motorsport / TheArrow / Hyundai N-Sport
3 Ain't Care Motorsports / skaifeman / Chevrolet Camaro

Race 3 Podium:
1 Shogun Autosport / Helix / Ford Darkhorse Mustang
2 Kalyara Racing Team / Kytabu / Bentley Continental GT
3 Ain't Care Motorsports / skaifeman / Chevrolet Camaro

A couple of things to note:

For V8CFL Tiebreakers, the cars in the Tiebreaking Group must score points to be involved.  The tiebreakers are based on how many points the car in question scores, not where it places.  Hence, in Race 3, Car 1 and Car 19 both were not eligible for the tiebreaker.

In Race 2, Car 17 had an unsafe release from the pits but was allowed to keep their position and points.  HOWEVER, Supercars levied a 30 point team penalty against them.  The V8CFL recognizes said penalty and Car 17's point total was adjusted from 74 to 34 for that race.

All other penalties were levied during the races.

Next up is The Bend.  I will gin up the V8CFL Enduro Cup in the days to come.

I've never actually read the tie-break rules, as I was about to note that you got it wrong. But there they are!
Thanks for explaining Mike. Who am I to think you got it wrong!! ;D  ;D  :-X

I cannot remember exactly why I made it that way, but when we came up with tiebreakers, something didn't jive with cars that were not scored.  One thing that could possibly happen, though, which it never has before, is that a lower placed car could actually win a tiebreaker if he had the five bonus points for fastest lap.  I think I am going to eliminate that loophole next year.

And..... if I must say..... I have gotten it wrong before.  Professor is always backing me up via PM with post-race penalties and I appreciate that VERY much.

A quick refresher of the rules for 2026.  This is straight out of the rulebook:

A maximum of THREE car changes (total) will be allowed for Groups A-E up until the Playoffs begin at Round 12 at the Gold Coast 500.  After that, for Rounds 12-14, only ONE change will be allotted for each team NO MATTER HOW MANY CHANGES YOU HAVE MADE UP TO THAT POINT.

Just keep that in mind, gents.

Team rosters are now locked in for The Bend.  Only R&K Motorsports has submitted a change.

Good luck to all as the Enduro Season is now upon us!

You did, lank man.  I stand corrected.  Your changes have been logged and are in effect.  Hence, there are TWO camps that have made changed prior to the Enduro round.

Results from The Bend are posted.

Canuck Motorsports and Cdnguy have taken their maiden win in their rookie campaign!  Hats off!  Take a bow!

Race Podium:
1 Canuck Motorsports / Cdnguy / Chevrolet Camaro
2 The Arrow Motorsport / TheArrow / Hyundai N-Sport
3 Ain't Care Motorsports / skaifeman / Chevrolet Camaro

In the V8CFL Enduro Cup, Ain't Care Motorsports and Shogun Autosport, two former V8CFL Champions, have the early lead headed to Bathurst.

As for the Stewards Summary, both BRT cars were disqualified due to failure to meet the minimum driver times in both cars.  And also, Car 10 was pinged with a 15 second penalty post-race for a driving infringement that was not taken during the race.

Next up, Bathurst

I just realised, between Skaifeman and I, it just comes down to Mostert vs Payne. We have identical teams, so it comes down to our tie breaker which, at the moment, is Chaz vs Matt.

It goes without saying but Bathurst is up this weekend.  Last Enduro.  The V8CFL Enduro Cup will be decided.

The V8CFL Championship looks like it is down to a two horse race, but you never know what might unfold.  look how Canuck Racing took the last enduro!

The V8CFL Tournament has two rounds left before the Playoffs.  Top two in each division go on.  The Brock Division is TOTALLY up for grabs at this point in time.

Any roster changes must be made within the next 48 hours, or so.  Midnight Thursday Sydney time.

Let us all enjoy our motorsport this weekend.
