After Supercars gets called out for moving closer to BOP the parity debate dried up over night. Maybe Ford's teams legal letters had some legs.

I have to agree with the DUDE.

Simpler cars would make parity easier, and more testing allowed for aspiring od newcomer drivers would help with Driver Parity.

Paul Morris weighs in on Supercars testing restrictions, Gen3 complexity

I note that Supercars have made provision for Cooper Barns to test Mom and Dads newly acquired ex DJR Gen 3 in preparation for 2028 racing.

Is this normal or special?  It will certainly give him a jump on the Super2 Driver Parity.

It'll heat up with/without any AVL testing proposed specification for the Mustang. We still await the CoG results and whether 888/Grove are still unhappy with that latest overall adjustment of the Camaro ...it's just hibernating (as is V8C 8)).

I still feel Toyota might have an ace up their sleeve too - even just for further reliability.

With everything so limited in Gen3, these cars are closer than any two (even of the same make) touring cars in our Supercars era. I truly don't think the parity noise will ever go away.

I don't believe they will change anything with the Ford engine. With Supercars shift to BOP parity, they will conclude that Ford superior teams will suffice.

I believe he has to run it at a pretty big de-tune, and on different tyres.

I'll be buggered. Supercar actually pulled it off. And to think of the quality racing we were denied for the past few years.

To be fair, going by the comments on here, the only quality racing on the weekend were the final 10 laps or so.

Fair would be acknowledging the good clean racing for 161 laps.

no safety cars for 155 or so laps, I'd call that quality racing, albeit a little bit boring
