Possibly the only XY GT that is not one of the 15000 HO's that are supposedly in existence.

Had one in at work about a month ago to be re restickered. Asked the bloke who dropped it off if it was genuine. He said yes, and it's a HO. Popped the bonnet after he left and it was a Fairmont. Either he's a liar or a gullible dip****.

I wouldn't discount the latter, madbugger.
The amount of mis-information and twisted history that goes around these days, even on cars as recent as VE/FG. The more time passes, the more facts disappear.

Top comment on the article made me laugh: "It will reappear as original."

Regardless, shame to see the Falcon in that state. Glad the driver is somewhat OK.
