Anyone on the site going?   :D

I can remember about 15 years back on another Supercars site (now defunct) I asked what it would be like to drive from NSW, SA, VIC, etc., to the NT.  I got some GREAT responses.  Pictures galore.

Thanks for starting the thread, Trevor, as we FINALLY get back to some Supercars action.  I do not know how many Yanks follow the series but I have to tell you, I follow a LOT of different series, and this one is at the top of the list.  Especially with being able to correspond via V8central.  You only go around once in life, so you take each day with all the gusto you can.

When was the last time it was a #17 and #18 front row?

Probably back when JB was driving and before the arsewipe stole the number 18

Probably Hamilton 2009 when Jnr got pole over JC in race 2.

Well done Tickford and Cam. They've been missing since Sandown last year... and could even argue EC before that.
Cam has done extremely well pulling decent results under the radar. The car looks great with the extra green.

The early stop wasn't it. As soon as the leaders were doing the same numbers as the freshly stopped cars, it was game over.

I'm guessing 888 brought in the new headlight design to match the road cars, looks fantastic.

We had a #18, #17 at EC earlier this year.
And then I remembered Taupo last year, which was Kostecki and ADP 1-2, however Brodie was in the #38.

Cam's green is a much nicer one to look at (as noted above)...

Today's race was mostly a bit ho-hum for me... only point of interest really was Chaz sliding off on Woody's fluids... you'd think someone would have told him?!

I like the 3 race format. Two races in and two drivers almost die with still one race to go. Tipping a W-TWG toymotor to take the race win.

The three races are working because it's over two different formats of which each are using different tyre compounds. It stops the cut/paste of strategy between the days.

Are Supercars just using the leftover supply of old tyres, or are we continuing to use the two compounds going forward?

Brodie out for the remainder of the weekend.

It's more simpler for me. I liked the 3 race sprints of yesteryear. Now with 2 longer races we can enjoy more racing time.

Hezellwood subbing for Kostecki and Frosty laces up the boots to sub for Randle.

I'm guessing Frosty will start from Pit lane as he didn't qualify
