Silly Season 2021
« on: May 18, 2021, 08:46:56 PM »
Thought this still might be best off in this thread.

Rick was at Winton today, in the KR garages... not sure if he was there for another team? I know Tickford and Blanchard were also testing.
Such an odd outcome, tiff or no tiff.

He drove both Kelly Grove cars and I'm assuming to give guidance on both.

Cheers LG.

Wildcard Rick and Todd?

Rick does seem to be the only Supercars driver doing any Mustang marketing, namely with the Mach 1.
Would be awesome to see Ford/Repco throw in some wildcard money to take Supercheap on (and potentially Boost).

This would be good  8)

If it was a similar scenario to Rusty where he is there to mentor a future superstar and groom some mongrel into them then I’d support it but if he teamed up with a has been or a hack chasing an easy payday and some free publicity then I’d rather see him in the commentary team.

Except that Rusty isn’t there to mentor...

I had to check the date on my calendar.  Thought it might have been April 1st.

Interesting news.  Sure to grab some attention.
