Selling a Jenga piece requires that someone wants to buy a Jenga piece.  In this case 2 investors see value in the series future.

I sold a car. Was a 1994 ED Ford Fairmont. Dual fuel conversion. Used it to deliver mail on dirt roads to farmers. Had to shovel out the dust. LPG tank was out of date, gearbox was shot, half the dash didn't work. After 4 years of straddling dish drains and culverts the body had more flex than the springs. Pedal to the floor you couldn't go faster than 105km/h.   I got what I wanted out of it. Sold it for the cost of a full tank of fuel.  Bloke that bought it saw potential...I saw it 4 months later, stripped and in line at the mobile crusher.

As far as I recall BRT built their two cars.

However, when Tickford scaled back to a two-car team, BRT purchased a surplus car and, by coincidence, picked up a surplus driver and a surplus sponsor.

Maybe it is time to park one of their cars and bring the Tickford built car online if thy haven' already done so.

For me, I see this as BJR taking another step toward a pay-drive team. "Come to BJR, get a car, the 888 data, all you have to pay is $X."

From memory he made some comments that Erebus are facing a mass-exodus of staff come years end.
Sounds like when this all kicked off it was too late for them to put resume's in elsewhere.
