Starts this weekend. https://www.supercars.com/news/supercars-news-2026-perth-super-440-track-schedule-announcement-race-start-times-how-to-watch-event-info

Mixed tyre weekend always produces good racing, and I predict on this surface it'll do just that.

Where are you Trev? I'm excited!

Hey, make sure you blokes vote in the Excellence Awards post-race.  The voting numbers have been dwindling.

The Street Race is due for 2028, so you'd think we'll still be here in 2027.

Then they're looking at a double header in 2028, street circuit/Barbagallo.
I'd think there's a very real possibility that 2027 could be the final year (until the street circuit contract comes up).

Not watching enough of the races any more to vote properly

did they say on today's telecast (what little I saw) that it was to be the opening round? can't see back to back WA to start the year?

Interesting how tyres can some off of the bead and stay inflated, Larko's video on supercars.com is excellent.

Interesting how Grove and Car 26 can be below the minimum tyre pressure - and get away with it.

Looks like Supercars has submitted their own appeal.
It does open a can of worms if this one slips through (every instance in the last 5-6 years has been DSQ), basically every team will be back running minimums with no tolerance, or better yet dummying up their own 'slow leak.'

Enjoyable the weekend of racing. The bowl through to T1 always produces great racing, and the tyrewear creates a genuine undercut/overcut strategy.
Funny to hear GT outline that Brodie "lives and dies by the sword," exactly my words back at Ruapuna.

next question would then be... who can/cannot appeal a decision?

a lot of folk are unimpressed by the judiciary not taking action after a 3 car incident under double yellow at the B6HR... where do we sign up to get it addressed and the offending driver dealt with? (not that it would ever happen, that would be made sure of)

Case precedent.  A true can of worms it can turn out to be.

That was a mess indeed.  It amazes me how a veteran driver like Grant Denyer can initiate something like that.

and it comes to this...

a page that was full on Supercars nutters doesn't give a damn sufficiently to even have 1 page of chatter about the weekend...

and only 1 post of that was actually discussing the weekend (the tyre off the bead)...

but, on the bright side... Supercars have just released a statement saying that it was a record V8Central engagement!!

congrats all! :P

Yep, Supercars management have done a great job with the series

Unfortunately, the internet has generally moved on from forums. I wouldn't correlate it too strongly with anything Supercars has done. In fact, this forum goes off when Supercars management do make a blunder - it's rarely about the racing.
